Every surface claim printed on a product photo is still just marketing until somebody presses a finger against the real part. That is why the imagery for this plate is built around the moment of contact: a live finger on the black face, with the two promises - fingerprint-free and scratch-resistant - shown next to the surface that has to keep them.
The honest reading of such a shot is not "this coating cannot be marked". It is "this coating has been engineered so that everyday marking stays invisible or wipes away". The questions maintenance teams raise at handover
If the plate hides fingerprints, won't it still collect dust against white tiles?
Any dark surface collects visible dust more readily than a light one - that is physics, not a coating fault. The matte texture and the protective layer keep the dust from bonding into streaks, so a quick dry wipe restores the face. If your wall scheme is bright, the graphite tone is the softer middle ground.
How is scratch resistance tested without ruining a sample we want to keep?
The coating is checked on a dedicated test piece from the same lot, using a controlled edge-drag that the production team repeats for every batch. Your approval sample stays untouched, and the test photos are shared with the packing record.
Can the tone change after our sample is approved?
Yes, if the change is raised before plating starts. A revised coating card is issued and confirmed on a new sample piece; the original approval stays on file in case you want to compare both tones side by side.
What exactly should we send to begin?
The frame or cistern model, the opening detail or a photo of the installation, the target tone, and your carton or logo requirements if this is a branded run. With those four pieces we can quote and ship the coating card in the same week.
