A color glazed basin is a ceramic basin finished with a colored glaze, fired at high temperature so the color bonds into the ceramic surface. How the Color Glaze Is Applied

Color glazed basins are slip-cast in vitreous china, then the colored glaze is applied before firing at 1280°C. At that temperature the glaze melts and fuses into the ceramic body, so the color becomes part of the surface rather than a separate coating. Each unit is inspected for glaze consistency and color evenness before packing.
